When we try to call an Oracle stored procedure from the bridge which has BOOLEAN type input parameters and a BOOLEAN return value, we get the following error from Oracle:
    <p style=”padding-left: 30px;”>ORA-01036 illegal variable name/number</p>
Parameters names/types are correct; only thing different from previously configured stored procedures is the fact that we now have to connect a procedure with Boolean input & return types. Do you know if that gives problems (according to manual basic types should be allowed)?

Further analysis learns that the RETURN_VALUE type Boolean seems to cause the problem.

Seems to be a bug on our side. I opened a ticket (RUN-1651)

Will post again, when the bug is fixed.

The latest runtime (2013.4) fixes this issues.
