Does the E2E Bridge support the Oracle DB Publish Subscribe Mechanism?

    Marcel R.

    No, we don’t.

Maybe Oracle provides a JMS client that can connect to their advanced queuing (AQ) infrastructure. If you follow your link above you find a link to their AQ user guide:
There you find links to documentation about AQ JMS clients.

    Ok, thanks.

For now we’ll keep things simple and use Oracle Stored Procedures to communicate between E2E Bridge and the customer’s Oracle based ERP system.

However, I have another question in this regard:

Our plan is to define a stored procedure that accepts a CLOB data-structure as input. This CLOB will contain an XML message. Now this XML Message can potentially grow quite big: some 10-50MB would not be surprising. The number of calls will be very low (e.g. 1 per week) and the throughput time is not critical.

Are there any problems foreseeable, or is it worth a try?

I see no problem with a message size of 10-50 MB because the limit of the current implementation is that the message must fit into the main memory and this should work with 50 MB.
