If JMS Senders and Listeners are used in a model, does it make sense to set the JVM option “Kill Threads on Shutdown” to “false”?

Extract from logfile – tried to stop a service but it remained in status shutdown:

    [2013-03-27 10:32:36 +0100][Error][Internal][ch.e2e.bridge.server.jms][JMS9][ConnectionAdapter.reconnect: lost JMS connection. Reason: javax.jms.JMSException: [C4089]: Caught JVM Error: java.lang.ThreadDeath
Trying to reconnect on next JMS action.]

Kill Threads on shutdown has no effects to shutting down the JMS Connections
