A new maintenance release of the E2E BRIDGE has been released. With this edition of our E2E Developer Newsletter we inform you about the latest features and bug fixes of the E2E BRIDGE software components. As usual, you find all details in our release notes that are provided in our Online Documentation.

    Compatibility Notes

With the release of our next major version BRIDGE 7, we plan to remove RUNTIME support for repositories that have been compiled with an E2E BUILDER of version 4.1 or older. Such repositories will still start on an E2E BRIDGE running with RUNTIME 2017.8 or higher, but an error will be logged to the service log to remind you that you need to migrate this service.
We will inform you in time which RUNTIME version will be the last to start 4.1 repositories. As of then – to use newer RUNTIME versions – you need to recompile the repository with a recent compiler.
